Upon arrival, deputies encountered a bloody scene with 35-year-old Bradley Lindsey arrested at the spot. Covered in blood, the suspect was apprehended after he attacked a 61-year-old male with a hatchet, who necessitated medical care for serious injuries. The neighbor had made a prompt 911 call after Lindsey ominously suggested to “call the police if they heard gunshots,” while he walked down the street before entering the residence.

The homeowner, 74-year-old David Dick, shared with the deputies that Bradley Lindsey was a stranger to him before the incident.
