Man Dies in Atlanta Truck Crash, Police Suspect Death Not Caused by Collision

ATLANTA, Geor. (DDN) –  After a truck accident in northwest Atlanta, officers are looking into the death of a man who was discovered at the scene.

According to investigators, the crash occurred at a residence on S Eugenia Place at approximately 3 a.m.

Officers arrived at the site and discovered that a red Ford pickup truck had smashed into the side of a house on the 600 block of the road.

A man was found in the driver’s seat of the car, and he was not responding.

Medis attempted to provide assistance, but the man was declared dead at approximately 4 a.m.

According to investigators, who spoke with FOX 5, they do not think that the crash was responsible for the driver’s death. They also discovered narcotics in the car.

The authorities have not yet disclosed the identify of the driver. The investigation regarding the cause of death is still in progress.
