Man Fatally Shot in South Miami Heights Drive-By Attack, Police Seek Witnesses

A man was killed in a drive-by shooting in South Miami Heights early this morning, causing tragedy. Miami-Dade Police were called to the area after a complaint of gunfire at the 19300 block of Southwest 116th Avenue shortly before one in the morning, according to Local 10. The victim was quickly taken to Jackson South Medical Center by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, where he was declared dead despite efforts to resuscitate him.

Miami-Dade Police are currently looking into the shooting, but they have not yet disclosed the identities of the suspects or the victim. NBC Miami gave a similar account, stating that the man was standing in front of a house when an unknown car pulled up and an attacker inside the car started shooting.
