Violence on the streets of Oak Park claimed the life of a man early on Friday morning. The man was critically injured in an incident that occurred just after 7 a.m. near Roosevelt Road and Ridgeland Avenue, according to WGN-TV. According to WGN-TV, the man was discovered in critical difficulty and was rescued from a white vehicle that seemed to have wrecked on Roosevelt Road when captured on camera by SkyCam9. He died from his wounds after being taken to Loyola University Medical Center, where heroic measures were taken to keep him alive.
