A number of people are being sought by the Metropolitan Police Department in connection with an armed robbery attempt and subsequent gunshot in Northwest Washington, D.C. A community was rocked and one man was hurt in the incident, which happened on a busy thoroughfare in the center of the city.
According to information gleaned from a police report, the incident happened on Monday, November 11 at approximately 3:29 p.m., when officers from the Third District showed up in the Unit block of O Street, Northwest. The Washington Metropolitan Police Department reports that a male adult was discovered wounded by a gunshot. He was still awake despite his injuries, explaining how a fight over his personal property turned violent when one of the attackers pulled out a gun, shot him twice, then struck him.
Authorities are looking to the public for help in their continued efforts to capture the suspects. The surveillance footage that shows the suspects has been made public and may be seen here. The only way to identify the perpetrators of the attack is through the hazy photos.
