Mansfield Community in Mourning as Missing Teen Trentin Isaac Found Dead in Harrison County Under Suspicious Circumstances

This week marked the terrible conclusion of the search for a missing teenager from Mansfield. After going missing last Tuesday, 16-year-old Trentin Isaac was discovered deceased in Harrison County today. Due to “suspicious circumstances,” authorities took his remains to the Cuyahoga County Coroner’s Office, posing troubling questions regarding the teen’s murder and disappearance.

In an interview with WKYC, Mansfield Police Chief Jason Bammann stated that “Mansfield Police Detectives are currently working with state and local authorities as there are more questions than answers at this point.” The family and the community are hoping for some closure from the ongoing inquiry, which is assiduously working to “bring justice to the individuals who committed this act.” This vow was also reaffirmed in a statement that Cleveland19 was able to get.

The public is being asked to help with the inquiry by Mansfield police. They ask anyone who has images, videos, or social media posts about Isaac or the events surrounding his abduction to get in touch with the police. The Mansfield Division of Police’s Detective Ronee Swisher’s number, 419-755-9432, has been shared by several news outlets in an attempt to obtain important evidence.

The case is currently surrounded by a shroud of doubt. According to a news statement obtained by WKYC, “Again, detectives investigating the case have received numerous unverified tips and rumors concerning videos and social media posts, but no such evidence has been submitted to Mansfield Police.”
