DDN: On New Year’s Day, two individuals who were armed with knives and wearing masks removed a girl who was 15 years old from a parked vehicle and threatened her, as stated by the Plainfield Police Department. The girl was evacuated from the vehicle.
At approximately 4:17 a.m. on January 1, officers from the Plainfield Police Department responded to a report of a dispute that had taken place in the vicinity of North Chestnut Street in Plainfield.
There were two people who were reportedly involved in the event. Both of them were equipped with knives and were wearing masks.
They discovered that two individuals who were armed with knives and were wearing masks had removed a girl who was 15 years old from a parked vehicle in the backyard of the house and threatened her with a knife while they were arriving. The girl was taken from the vehicle.
There were no injuries sustained by the girl as a result of the altercation, according to the Plainfield Police Department official.
One of the persons entered the enclosed porch of the residence, where they were confronted by the people who were living there, according to the Plainfield Police Department, which reported that the incident occurred.
The individuals who were wearing masks were able to make their getaway on foot when the altercation had concluded.
During the time that they were present at the scene, the Connecticut State Police provided assistance in the form of a K9 track; however, the search did not result in the identification of potential suspects.
According to the Plainfield Police Department, this has been demonstrated to be an isolated incident, and there is no danger to the general public as a result of this.
