DDN: As a result of the police searching two homes in Grafton on Thursday, two individuals who are 18 years old have been charged.
On Friday, the police issued a statement stating that they had taken possession of “a significant amount” of drugs, which included Class C and Class D substances with a combined value of about $38,000.
There was no information provided by the police on Friday on the names of the teenagers or the addresses of the homes that were stolen.
A conspiracy to break drug laws, having Class C and Class D drugs on their person with the intention of distributing them, and simultaneously distributing Class C and Class D drugs are the charges that have been brought against the two individuals, who are 18 years old, according to the prosecution.
“This is a great example of how well police and investigators work together and how different agencies can work together,” Grafton Police Chief Neil Minardi said in a statement. “We appreciate how hard the officers worked, how well they worked together, and how professional they were in ending this investigation safely.”
Two different residences in Grafton were searched by members of the Blackstone Valley Drug Task Force on Thursday, according to Minardi. The search was led by Grafton Sergeant Liam O’Rourke and Officer Coryn Dias.
Members of the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council, which is comprised of more than sixty local police agencies, assisted in the execution of the warrants that were issued.
Grafton is accessible by vehicle from Worcester, which is the starting point. The population of the town was 19,664 at the time of the census in the year 2020.
