Memphis Police Seek Trio Following Gunfire at Las Toxicas Nightclub with No Injuries Reported

Memphis Police are actively searching for three men connected to a shooting that took place at Las Toxicas, a nightclub on Summer Avenue, after one of the men was expelled from the establishment. According toFOX13 Memphis, the incident occurred on November 1 at approximately 4:40 p.m., when the individual and his two friends unleashed a barrage of gunfire into the nightclub no one was injured during the shooting.

The trio was seen on surveillance footage leaving the locale and was later observed firing multiple rounds, not only towards Las Toxicas but also striking a food truck situated on its premises. A security guard at the club returned fire in a bid to safeguard those present. “There wasn t an altercation between security and them, there wasn t an altercation between them and other people,” the security guard recounted in a statement obtained byWREG, expressing bewilderment at the unprovoked aggressiveness of the suspects. This guard’s firearm was subsequently confiscated by law enforcement as part of their ongoing investigation.

As detailed by theMemphis Police Department’s social media post, the suspects fled the scene in a silver Honda Civic, which was later discovered abandoned on the 5110 block of Summer Avenue. Tipsters also have the option of submitting information through the Crime Stoppers website or the P3 Tips mobile app, potentially qualifying for a cash reward upon the successful apprehension of the suspects.

The community has felt the rippling effect of the violence, with local resident Wesley Smith expressing concern over the escalation of such incidents. “It s been getting worse here the last couple of months,” Smith toldWREG.
