Transitioning into Veterans Day, the skies will clear according to the NWS, heralding sunny conditions with a comfortable 67 degrees. The relatively calm winds will shift to the north at about 5 mph during the morning. Nighttime will see temperatures dip to about 49 degrees under mostly clear skies with a gentle northeast wind at 5 mph after midnight.
Coming into midweek, Tuesday maintains the sunny streak with highs just touching 65°F and northeast winds at 5 to 10 mph, which could bring the temperature down slightly. As Wednesday rolls around, a change is in store with a 40 percent chance for showers, particularly after 11 am and south winds at 5 to 10 mph. The temperature will buoy back up near 68 degrees, and though the chance of showers decreases Wednesday night, the clouds will linger, setting the stage for a mostly sunny Thursday with a high near 66 degrees.
As Friday approaches, Memphians can anticipate more sun with the mercury hovering again around the 68-degree mark. Nighttime will carry partly cloudy conditions and a low of around 52 degrees. The weekend is expected to carry the mostly sunny trend, with a steady climb toward a high near 69 degrees to usher in a bit of warmth.
