Memphis’s National Weather Service is predicting a period of pleasant weather, starting with a sunny day today with highs of almost 59 degrees Fahrenheit. According to their most recent forecast, a strong north-northwest wind is expected to blow between 10 and 15 mph with gusts of up to 25 mph. Tonight, residents can anticipate clear skies, a drop in temperature to around 38 degrees, and west winds that are still blowing at about 10 mph.
With unspoiled sunlight and highs in the mid-50s on Thursday and somewhat lower on Friday, the obvious trend is to obstinately continue for the rest of the week. The NWS Memphis detailed prediction states that Thursday night’s high will be 36 degrees with a northwest wind of about 10 mph, and Friday’s high will be close to 51 degrees with a lighter northwest wind of 5 to 10 mph.
Although calm weather is predicted for the weekend, overnight and early morning environmental changes are also included. Friday, patchy fog is predicted to form after five in the morning, and there is also a chance of patchy frost after one in the morning. Saturday’s daylight hours will be dominated by clear sky, and it’s expected to get up to a comfortable 56 degrees. With the exception of a light, shifting southwest breeze, the evening also trends toward calm.
The temperature will rise slightly on Sunday, reaching a comfortable 67 degrees under partly sunny skies. The pattern remains unaffected by nightfall; it stays partly cloudy with a low of about 58 degrees. On Monday, however, there is a mild 20 percent chance of showers, and temperatures will reach a comfortable 73 degrees as the new week begins. The NWS statement states that Monday night brings a more considerable possibility of showers, at 50 percent.
With a 30 percent chance, Tuesday still has the potential for showers and maybe thunderstorms. The day is expected to stay largely overcast with a high in the upper 50s. The forecast for Memphis for the next week is clear and calm, with a small possibility of rain.
