Michigan woman charged in assault of 71-year-old aunt

(CBS DETROIT)A Clinton Township woman has been charged with assaulting her aunt, age 71, in Detroit.

The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office has accused 41-year-old Latoreya Denise Till with assault and battery. She was given a $5,000 personal bond upon her arraignment on Friday.

According to the prosecution, Till assaulted her aunt inside a house in the 11500 block of Duchess Street in Detroit on December 10 at around 6:30 p.m. while intoxicated.

On December 20, there will be a pre-trial hearing.
