I have an 18-year-old, and it’s quite heartbreaking. Therefore, I’m sorry for the parents,” she said, voicing worry over the rising level of violence in the neighborhood. “I was really shocked and surprised,” said Octavius Crockett, a child who goes past the park every day on his way to school. It’s as if someone was killed here. They frequently came about here brandishing guns, but I don’t believe they were really going to shoot them to pieces in that manner.”
