Milwaukee Man Charged With Homicide After 40-year-old Woman Found Dead in Garbage Cart

MILWAUKEE (DDN) – A Milwaukee man has been charged with the homicide of a 40-year-old woman discovered dead in a garbage cart.

Johnny Williams, 57, is charged with first-degree intentional homicide as a party to a crime.

On December 2, the victim, Myeisha Moore, was discovered dead inside a waste cart in an alley behind Bethany Lutheran Church near North 38th and West Lloyd Street.

According to a criminal complaint, surveillance footage showed Williams at the site. Williams was recorded on video walking with the victim before rolling the waste cart into the alley.

Williams reportedly returned to the area and tried to set it on fire.

According to the lawsuit, Williams originally provided investigators with the incorrect name but then acknowledged giving a fictitious name.
