Authorities say a missing 2-year-old girl has been discovered safe in Columbus following a nationwide search, bringing relief to Clermont County. An urgent investigation was launched after the toddler, named Naomie Mason, was removed from her Bethel home by her non-custodial father.
After being seized by 23-year-old Devon Mason, who police claim refused to return his daughter, the girl was thought to be in danger, according to FOX19. She was found unharmed in the Columbus area, which was a relief in a turn of events.
The search for her father is still ongoing, even though the youngster is safe and will soon be reunited with family in Bethel. According to information from the WWWT, the Bethel Police had issued an advisory alert for an endangered youngster and had taken to social media to solicit help from the public.
