Missing Michigan Man’s Body Found in Rothbury After Disappearance at 2018 Music Festival

DDN – Michigan State Police have verified that they have located the remains of a Highland Township man who went missing in 2018.

Kevin Graves, 28, traveled to the little hamlet of Rothbury, Michigan, with his fiancée in June 2018 for the Electric Forest music festival.

His girlfriend called his family four days after they arrived at the festival to inform them that she could not find him.

Authorities investigated the area for years following his disappearance but were unable to locate him.

According to officials, human remains were discovered on December 30 in a wooded area near Rothbury. They confirmed on Thursday, January 2, that the remains are Kevin Graves. He was identified using dental data by forensic anthropologists from Western Michigan University.

Police said it could take several months to determine the cause of his death, but there is no evidence of foul play right now.

The investigation is underway.
