Two people have been taken into custody following the discovery of a woman and her daughter, who was four years old, who had been shot to death on the Florida Turnpike.
Both Antoine Harris, who is 28 years old, and Jaquan Thomas, who is 29 years old, have been taken into custody by the police after the incident occurred on June 6.
Harris and Thomas were taken into custody in the Georgia and Miami Gardens regions.
Beatrice Saintvil and her daughter Janelle Souffrant were discovered by the police in a black sedan that was riddled with gunshot holes. The vehicle was parked on the left shoulder of the northbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike near Mile Marker 49, located just south of Hollywood Boulevard.

Both of them were discovered to be suffering from wounds caused by gunshots. After conducting an investigation, the Broward Sheriff’s Office concluded that the bullets were fired at approximately 11:15 p.m. the previous evening.
The young girl passed away at the scene of the accident, while her mother passed away at the hospital.
Since then, the BSO has been handling the inquiry.
In exchange for information that leads to the capture of the shooter or shooters, a reward of twenty thousand dollars was given.
As of right now, that inquiry is drawing to a finish, as the BSO has announced that they have solved the case and that two persons will be charged with the crime.
The authorities have not yet elaborated on their thoughts regarding the possible motivation behind the case.
