Suspects connected to a slew of armed robberies that occurred throughout the District yesterday are being sought by Metropolitan Police. In each instance, a suspect exited a silver Hyundai Sonata with Maryland tags flashing and pointed a gun at victims before stealing their personal belongings, according to an MPD press statement.

At 4th and Sheridan Street, Northwest, a crime spree started at 3:41 p.m. and swiftly extended to 4500 Kansas Avenue Northwest. Later that day, the stolen car was found on Southeast Bangor Street. The individual proceeded to commit crimes along Eckington Place, Harry Thomas Way Northeast, and Georgia Avenue Northwest. The public is being asked to assist the Metropolitan Police Department in identifying the suspect. Every incident has a unique case number associated with it.
