MPD Seeks Public Assistance in Identifying Suspects in Northwest Washington D.C. Assault and Attempted Robbery Case

In connection with a recent assault and attempted robbery, the Metropolitan Police Department is requesting assistance from the public in identifying and tracking down those involved. The incident happened in Northwest Washington, D.C., on Sunday night.

On the 800 block of L Street, Northwest, at around 8:05 p.m., two people were approached by suspects brandishing knives, according to the MPD. When the two refused to comply with the suspects’ demands for property, they were violently attacked. Luckily, before the suspects made the decision to swiftly leave the scene, they were unable to seize any goods.

The MPD is actively looking for any public information that can help identify and capture the implicated suspects. According to the MPD’s website, the agency has declared that a reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for any information that significantly results in an arrest and conviction in this case.
