Multi-County Police Chase Ends With Four Detained in Ohio County

Four persons have been arrested after a stolen vehicle investigation in Bowling Green resulted in a multi-county pursuit.

Sheriff Adam Wright of the Ohio County Sheriff’s Department told WBKO that KSP in Bowling Green was working on a stolen car investigation when a suspect led them on a chase across the state.

The chase continued until Kentucky 4-03 near Cromwell in Ohio County, when the suspect’s vehicle plunged into the Green River.

Sheriff Wright claims that’s when three of the accused were apprehended and the driver fled. The driver, 18-year-old Braxton Boils, was apprehended by K9s from the Sheriff’s Office early Tuesday morning.

Devion Cox, 18, and two minor girls were also arrested. There are currently no mugshots available for Boils or Cox.
