There are multiple smaller MLS providers in New York City because there isn’t one dominant multiple listings service. The main MLS in New York City is called the Real Estate Board of New York’s RLS.

REBNY RLS
The REBNY RLS is considered the top MLS (Multiple Listing Service) in Manhattan. Almost all brokerages on the island are members of this organization. The RLS also covers popular neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Queens, like Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope, Long Island City, and others. If you want to sell a home in Manhattan, you should make sure it’s listed on the RLS.
Brooklyn MLS
The Brooklyn MLS is a smaller MLS that mainly covers the southern and eastern areas of Brooklyn. If you want to sell a home that is situated to the south or east of Prospect Park, using the Brooklyn multiple listing service can be a good choice for you.
HGAR
HGAR stands for the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors. They mainly focus on Westchester County. You’ll notice that certain homes in the Bronx are also listed on HGAR. Additionally, HGAR is a part of OneKey, which is striving to become the MLS for NYC. OneKey
OneKey is a new Multiple Listing Service (MLS) that was created through a collaboration between MLSLI and HGAR. Both of these multiple listing services joined together to create OneKey. The goal is to create a website where consumers can find all real estate listings in New York City. OneKey has coverage throughout all of NYC, but they do not have enough inventory in Manhattan. Considering this, OneKey has made a significant effort to attract new members from REBNY firms. However, most REBNY members have chosen not to join OneKey at this time.
Manhattan MLS
The Manhattan MLS is a service called multiple listing service. It is run by an organization called MANAR, which stands for the Manhattan Association of Realtors. This MLS appears to be struggling and will probably cease to exist soon.
