Mysterious Body Found in Mooresville Storage Unit, Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Investigates

In Iredell County, a body was found at the Affordable Storage. According to WBTV, police have not disclosed the deceased’s age or gender, leaving the identity and cause of death as a mystery. Despite starting an investigation, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office has not yet concluded whether foul play was involved.

The sheriff’s office has not stated whether they are looking for a suspect or whether any arrests are imminent since the body was discovered inside a storage unit at Affordable Storage Mooresville, which is located on Oakridge Farm Highway. This information was added by WCNC a little after 5 p.m. yesterday.

According to Queen City News’ coverage, the local police have not made it clear if this case is being handled as a homicide or as part of a more comprehensive death investigation, therefore the issue is still unclear. There are currently more questions than answers because of the scant information that has been made public and the circumstances surrounding the horrific discovery.

Because this is a developing story, Queen City News has contacted the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office for more information and will provide an update as soon as they have it. As of right now, the sheriff’s office has not released any additional details.
