The New Orleans Police Department is seeking help from the public in identifying a suspect involved in a recent auto theft. The incident took place early in the morning, at approximately 4:30 a.m. last Monday, when an individual reportedly stole a vehicle from the 1400 block of South Claiborne Avenue.

The NOPD provided surveillance footage showing the suspect during the theft. The stolen vehicle was subsequently located, abandoned in the 3300 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard. Details about the condition of the vehicle or any items that may have been stolen from it have not been released.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about this suspect to step forward.
