Northridge Violin Teacher Arrested, Suspected of Sexual Assault Involving a Minor; LAPD Seeks Additional Victims

On suspicion of sexually assaulting a juvenile, 72-year-old violin instructor Konstantin Yedigaraov of Northridge has been taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department. According to CBS News Los Angeles, Yedigaraov was arrested on November 14th and given a $50,000 bail amount.

Authorities are asking anyone with pertinent information to come forward as the arrest has sparked a search for other victims. Victims are provided with the means to safely express their stories, leaving the protection of anonymity. Detectives think there might be more victims who haven’t come forward yet, according to a statement KTLA was able to get.

In an effort to encourage possible victims to come forward and support the ongoing investigation, LAPD has shared a picture of Yedigaraov. According to the LAPD news release, which LAPD Online cites, there may be more unnamed victims of Yedigaraov who have not yet come forward. Investigators are trying to find and contact any more victims.
