, a 50-year-old man was the victim of a theft when $20,000 in cash was stolen from his vehicle on the morning of September 27, near 50 Richmond Terrace.

Authorities say the incident unfolded as the man exited his car, leaving it unattended momentarily. At that point, three suspects were able to enter the vehicle and make off with the large sum of money. They were later seen fleeing the scene in a car heading south on Richmond Terrace, as detailed by

In an effort to assist with the investigation, the NYPD has released images taken last Friday night of the alleged suspects. As per

, the footage shows the suspects, each of the suspects wore hats, likely to conceal their identities, and the getaway vehicle used in the incident. This evidence was discovered after the event, which took place near a strip mall where the victim had briefly stepped away from his car.
