Orlando Man Sentenced to Over Six Years for Fentanyl Distribution and Illegal Firearm Possession

An Orlando man has been sentenced to just over six years in federal prison for offenses related to fentanyl distribution and firearm possession. Sebastian Gabriel Lugo-Lugo, 20, faced Senior U.S. District Judge Roy B. Dalton, Jr., who handed down the sentence of six years and one day following a guilty plea on July 23, according to a press release from theU.S. Attorney s Officefor the Middle District of Florida.

Court records reveal that, during several drug deals, Lugo-Lugo sold an undercover agent marijuana and counterfeit prescription pills laced with fentanyl. These transactions took place throughout 2023 and 2024, and on several occasions, a firearm was possessed by Lugo-Lugo. One such transaction included the sale of a firearm alongside the counterfeit fentanyl pills.

The pills in question were not only laced with fentanyl but were also found to contain p-Flurofentanyl a fentanyl analog and xylazine, a veterinary sedative. The inquiry leading to Lugo-Lugo s arrest involved the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Seminole County Sheriff s Office City County Investigative Bureau, with added support from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Assistant United States Attorney Megan Testerman prosecuted this case, building upon the framework of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN).
