Pacifica Man, Pedro Jesus Bernabe-Vazquez Arrested for Alleged DUI After Colliding with Parked Vehicle

A suspected DUI collision was the subject of a recent incident recorded by the Pacifica Police Department. After reportedly driving under the influence and colliding with a parked car on Wednesday night, Pedro Jesus Bernabe-Vazquez, 28, was taken into custody.

The collision occurred on the 500 block of Oceana Boulevard at approximately 8:47 p.m., according to the department’s social media post. Officers discovered a Ford sedan that had collided with a BMW sedan, fortunately without any injuries. When the responding officers noticed that Bernabe-Vazquez, the only passenger and driver of the Ford, was showing symptoms of alcohol intoxication, they launched a DUI investigation that included Field Sobriety Tests (FSTs).

Bernabe-Vazquez was taken to a nearby sobering house after the arrest and then released with a criminal citation.
