Pedestrian Struck and Killed Near Wayne State University; Midtown Detroit Intersection Closed

DDN – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle at an intersection in Midtown Detroit late on Wednesday morning. Since then, there has been a considerable presence of law enforcement officers at the area.

The tragic collision took place at Woodward Avenue and Warren, close to Wayne State University, according to the Detroit Police Department. It took place before 9:30 in the morning.

The collision was reported to have involved two automobiles, according to the police. On foot, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, resulting in fatal injuries.

It has been reported by the police that the victim is a male who has not yet been named.
