Peoria Calls on Citizens for Vital Blood Donations at City Hall Blood Drive

Peoria residents have the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and contribute to the local blood supply this Thursday, November 14. The city hosts a blood drive on the City Hall Campus, welcoming donors from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event occurs in the Peoria Room, situated on the 2nd floor of the Public Safety & Administration Building located at 8351 W. Cinnabar Avenue.

With a critical need for donations,

Peoria authorities encourage

the community to participate and have set up a streamlined process for appointments via www.vitalant.org using the Blood Drive Code: peoria, or by calling 877.25.VITAL. For those with tight schedules, walk-in’s are also welcomed. Walking in with the intention to donate, participants make a tangible contribution to life-saving efforts with every pint given.

In an effort to incentivize donations during this critical period, from November 1 to December 1, donors are not only contributing to the community but also get entered to win one of three $10,000 gift cards. It’s a gesture that highlights the profound impact that one individual’s donation can make, by potentially saving lives while also offering a chance at a substantial reward.
