DOVER (DDN) – After a two-car accident on Friday afternoon, North Wooster Avenue was shut down. One person was evacuated to Akron General Hospital by LifeFlight as a result of the mishap.
According to Dover Fire Captain Mike Mossor, the incident happened at 2:44 p.m. when a pickup truck drove out in front of a commercial tow truck at the intersection of 12th Street and North Wooster Avenue.
The four people that were in the pickup truck were hurt. He stated that three of the injuries were mild, while the fourth one was significant.
The LifeFlight chopper landed outside the Buehler’s grocery store on North Wooster Avenue to take the patient to Akron.
