DDN – A small plane crashed into the backyard of a residence in Temple City, California, on Monday morning.
The crash occurred about 8 a.m. near San Gabriel Valley Airport.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the two persons on board the aircraft were being assessed for injuries, although none appeared to be present.
The plane did not make touch with the house and landed in a tree and shrubs. It does not appear that anyone was inside the house at the time.
Additional information on the incident was not accessible, however, it appears that the Cessna 152 was based at the Mission Flight Academy in Redlands, California.
Monday’s tragedy occurred just a few days after another small plane went through the roof of a building in Fullerton, California, killing two and injuring 19 others.
