Plano lifeguards Zane Arnold, Aaron Locke, and Davis Michelle were given the Lifesaving Award for Professional Responders, Brad Whitt was given the Lifesaving Instructor Award for his dedication to teaching lifesaving techniques, and Cynthia and Gregory Rushin were given the Certificate of Extraordinary Personal Action for their roles in the life-saving incident.
Through their activities, these community members have now joined a distinguished group supported by Red Cross personnel who, through their heroic efforts, have been known to have saved over 1,400 lives globally.
