ROWLETT (DDN) – According to the Rowlett police department, a pregnant woman was shot at an apartment complex where she was staying on Wednesday.

In the vicinity of the George Bush Turnpike, the Harmony Luxury Apartments, which are located on Harmony Lane, received the call around 5:40 p.m.

It was said by a spokeswoman for the police department that the woman’s condition is stable.

Whether or not a suspect is currently in custody or whether or not the victim and the suspect knew one another is not being disclosed by the police.

According to her, experts who specialize in crime scenes were dispatched to the location. They were asked to remain inside their units while the police investigated, according to residents of the complex who spoke with CBS News Texas.
