The Lansdowne Police Department received a call around 7:30 p.m. about the shooting, and was assisted by neighboring law enforcement in responding to the scene. Upon their arrival, officers found the pregnant woman, approximately eight months into her pregnancy, with gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according toFOX 29 News. The woman was then transported to a hospital in attempts to save her unborn child.
