Prince Harry Arrives in London Without Any Intentions to See King Charles III

Prince Harry, who is also known as the Duke of Sussex, will not be able to meet his father, King Charles III, while he is in London to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. This information has been confirmed by ABC News.

A representative for the duke informed ABC News on Tuesday that Charles is unable to find time in his schedule to visit his younger son, who currently resides in the United States.

“Unfortunately, a meeting between Harry and Charles will not be possible because His Majesty has a busy schedule,” said the spokesperson. “The Duke understands that his father has a busy schedule and many other important things to attend to. He hopes to see him soon.”

The last time that Prince Harry and Prince Charles saw each other was in February, when Harry traveled to London to pay a visit to Charles. This was after the palace made public the news that Charles had been diagnosed with a type of cancer that was not disclosed.b

According to reports, Harry traveled to London’s Heathrow Airport the following day after spending the night in a hotel and meeting Prince Charles, who has now started treatment for cancer. The meeting lasted for less than an hour and took place on February 6.

Harry expressed his desire to see Charles again in a short time by saying, “I’ve got other trips planned that will take me through the U.K., or back to the U.K., and so I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.” This statement was made in an interview with Will Reeve, who is a reporter for ABC News.

When Harry was spending time with Charles, he didn’t see his older brother Prince William. We don’t know if the brothers, who don’t get along well, will meet while Harry is in London this week.

The spokespersons for Buckingham and Kensington Palaces refused to provide a comment to ABC News. Before February, Harry had not seen his 75-year-old father since the king’s coronation in May at Westminster Abbey.

This week, Harry traveled to London by himself, just like he did in February and May. He visited his hometown without his wife Meghan, who is also known as the Duchess of Sussex, and their two children Archie and Lilibet.

Harry will be going to a Thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s Cathedral on May 8th. This is to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, which is a competition for injured service members that he started in 2014.

Harry started the first Invictus Games in 2014 in London. It was an international version of the Warrior Games, which is a yearly event organized by the U.S. Department of Defense. Harry had attended the Warrior Games in 2013.

The games have been held in Orlando, Toronto, Sydney, Düsseldorf, and The Hague. After visiting London, Harry will go to Nigeria. Meghan will also join him there. The Sussexes are going to visit an African country because they were invited by the country’s top military official, the Chief of Defense Staff.
