Our executive slave catchers will come get you in a Brown Van, be prepared to be searched down once you’ve enter the plantation. You are in Plantation Group K.” The FBI, working with the Department of Justice and other authorities, is urging anyone who receives threats of violence to report them to local law enforcement.
Federal and state agencies are scrambling to pinpoint the origins of these racist messages, some instructing Black individuals to “board a bus” to a “plantation” to work as slaves, a disturbing nod to America’s dark past of slavery, as documented by States like New York, Alabama, California, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Tennessee, FCC Chair Jessica Rosenworcel called the targeting “unacceptable” and “targeting very seriously,” according to

NAACP President Derrick Johnson has raised concerns about a rise in hostile rhetoric from racist groups after Republican Donald Trump won a second term over Vice President Kamala Harris. Johnson stressed that there is no place for hate in a democracy and that the NAACP will not be intimidated.
