Deputies from the Colorado River Sheriff’s Station were quick to respond to a burglary in progress on Wednesday in Mesa Verde, an unincorporated area of Blythe, according to a recent release by the

. The break-in occurred in the 17000 block of Palowalla Road at approximately 3:58 p.m., where witness reports claim individuals were seen removing property from a residence and loading it into a gray Ford pick-up truck.

The responding deputies observed the suspect vehicle making a hasty departure, swiftly initiated a traffic stop, the occupants, identified as 54-year-old Pablo Torres of Ripley, 62-year-old Russell Stroschein, and 43-year-old Becky Stroschein both of Mesa Verde were detained. Property estimated at a value of around $500, which belonged to the victim was found in their possession, they were then booked into the Blythe Jail. The charges include burglary, conspiracy, and possession of stolen property.
