Following two business burglaries in Rockville, three juveniles—really just children at the ages of thirteen, twelve, and eleven—have ended up in the custody of law authorities. For the nocturnal robberies that took place yesterday morning, the oldest of them has been officially charged.
The Superior Auto Service on Wilkins Avenue was broken into by the three, who took property before leaving a less-than-completed business behind, according to a press release from the Montgomery County Police Department. Word spread that there had been another break-in at RMA Transportation in the same block while the police were still investigating and processing the first crime.
According to Montgomery County, the 13-year-old has burdened the legal system with charges from the police, including two counts of second-degree burglary and conspiracy. This young individual must deal with the challenges of adulthood’s repercussions after being released to their guardian too soon.
The younger accomplices, whose ages have hardly exceeded ten, have been returned to their guardians in the meantime. In the reports, there are no costs listed for them.
