Two cars crashed head-on along Country Club Drive in Rohnert Park. The City of Rohnert Park Police & Fire said on social media that the accident happened last Friday and that the driver was distracted by youngsters in the rear seat. The driver veered into the opposing traffic lane in an attempt to avoid a car ahead, and he collided with an approaching car in the process.
The two kids in the car where it happened only suffered minor wounds. They were taken right away to a neighboring hospital, where they were given the proper treatment before being let out.
In order to respect the privacy and healing process of the individuals and their families, the authorities have not disclosed the names of those involved in the collision. The City of Rohnert Park Police & Fire, however, has made the following appeal to the public: “Thank you for increasing safety in our community by paying important attention while driving.”
