San Antonio Welcomes Mild, Sunny Weather As Holiday Season Approaches

In order to give residents a comfortable backdrop as November fades into December, the City of San Antonio is looking forward to a week with a combination of sunny sky and pleasant temperatures. A largely bright day with a notable south wind that might reach gusts of up to 20 mph is expected to replace the patchy fog that greeted the city before 9 a.m. today, according to the National Weather Service’s extended forecast. The high is predicted to get close to 83 degrees, providing a pleasant environment for outdoor pursuits.

San Antonio’s skies will stay largely clear throughout the night, with a low temperature of about 62 degrees. For those going outside under the stars, a mild reprieve may be offered by a calm South Southeast wind that will blow between 5 and 10 mph. Forecasters predict that San Antonio will experience largely sunny skies again tomorrow, with highs of 85 degrees, which is little higher than the high of today.

As we go into the middle of the week, the weather remains consistent. Wednesday is predicted to warm up once again, reaching a high of 84 degrees under partly sunny skies, while Tuesday is predicted to be primarily sunny with high temperatures slightly falling to a near 72 degree. Wednesday night could bring partly overcast conditions with a low of around 56 degrees and a shift in wind direction as it turns north after midnight, according to the National Weather Service.

With a colder high of about 69 degrees, those organizing their Thanksgiving Day plans should anticipate largely sunny weather. It is predicted that a strong north wind will blow across the city at about 15 mph with gusts of up to 20 mph. The generally sunny trend is expected to continue in San Antonio into the weekend, with highs of about 63 degrees on Friday and a little higher high of about 67 degrees on Saturday.
