, the San Antonio Police Department reported that Butcher was shot in the head while driving near Rittiman Road and IH-35. The violence erupted around 9:20 p.m. this past Friday, leading her vehicle to crash and roll over into a ditch, where she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office later ruled Butcher’s death a homicide, resulting from the gunshot wound. Meanwhile, the San Antonio Police Department suspects this was not a random act of violence. As stated by
