A routine patrol in Santa Rosa led to the arrest of a San Francisco man, whose parked vehicle caught the attention of local police last night. The Santa Rosa Police Department reported that the suspicious vehicle, spotted in the 1400 block of Santa Rosa Ave, was found to possess stolen license plates, prompting further investigation. The occupant, 39-year-old Michael James Coe, became the subject of a search which uncovered a cache of contraband.
According to the official social media post by the

Coe faces charges including the violation of Penal Code 29800(A)(1) for a felon in possession of a firearm and Penal Code 30305(A) for a felon in possession of ammunition, along with others pertaining to loaded firearms in both a vehicle and a public place, possession of a controlled substance with a firearm, and possession of stolen property. The Sonoma County Correctional Facility is where Coe was booked following his arrest.
