On October 11, the San Francisco Police Department reported that officers on patrol spotted three vehicles fleeing from the 100 block of Post Street at high speed following a commercial burglary. One vehicle was seen running a red light, prompting officers to give chase before halting the pursuit for safety concerns.

The incident led officers back to the scene of the crime, where it was discovered that two of the vehicles had been used to force entry into the store while other suspects stole merchandise.
