, which described how Officer King noticed a car driving erratically and proceeded to initiate a stop. According to the department’s account, a nervous 15-year-old Oakland resident was found in the vehicle, fidgeting and eventually revealing an extended magazine partially hidden by his backpack.
Further investigation led to a distressing discovery as Officer King and his team retrieved two unregistered guns, one reportedly ready to fire with a 30-round magazine. The juvenile was safely arrested and brought into custody before being released to their parents.
