Santa Rosa Police Seize Multiple Firearms and Arrest Suspect on Various Charges After Search Warrant Execution

The operation in the 1400 block of Apple Creek Lane was carried out by the Santa Rosa Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team (SET) and detectives from the Gang Crimes Team (GCT), the department said on social media.

Martiniano Solorio, 22, a resident of Santa Rosa, was the object of the search warrant and was taken into jail on suspicion of having a stolen firearm. The events that unfolded during the search did, in fact, validate the suspicions of law enforcement. Officers conducted a thorough search of the suspect’s residence and discovered a loaded CZ model 75 9mm handgun, a Jennings model 48.380 auto handgun, and a.22 caliber rifle. At least one of these weapons, the CZ model 75, was verified as stolen property, according to a records check on the seized firearms. The Santa Rosa Police Department posted that the officers also discovered more ammunition and suspected drugs.

Solorio is currently facing numerous accusations that include both felony and misdemeanor violations as a result of the discoveries. These include possessing a hidden firearm (PC 25400[a][2]), carrying a loaded pistol as an unregistered owner (PC 25850[c][6]), having stolen goods (PC 496[a]), and having a controlled substance (H&S 11377).
