Saturday night snow heading for Metro Detroit, winter weather expected to cause more ice jams along St. Clair River


A state of emergency has been declared in Saint Clair County due to the flooding along the Titular River and the prolonged cold weather is expected to bring more ice jams, leading to more flooding concerns for residents.

We stay on Saturday evening and overnight in the icy winter. More snow comes with a storm system driving our south. Most, if not all, of the fresh snow falls overnight while many Detroiters sleep. A light blanket of snow will greet us on Sunday morning.
