Saucy Brew Works to open March 3 in Detroit with efficient brewing system
Cleveland-based craft beer and pizza center Saucy Brew Works makes its Motor City debut on March 3rd at Brush Park.
Saucy Brew Works’ first Detroit location will be both a brewery and a coffee house, serving homemade beer and a full menu in the 5,700 square foot restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.
In addition to some seasonal beers, Habituale, a golden ale of Kölsch style, American IPA Juicy Asap and Love You, Bye, a “hazy imperial IPA”, are the most important labels from Saucy Brew Works. The company uses the BrauKon system, which is known for its zero waste and efficiency and is said to result in a product with a clean taste.
The menu includes beer-friendly dishes such as Bavarian pretzels, sandwiches, salads and wings as well as trendy products such as roasted cauliflower and thin crust as well as gourmet pizzas.
Saucy Brew Works Saucy Coffee’s artisanal coffeehouse concept will be located at this location, serving Gourmet Joe and selling whole bean coffee.
“We have been working with Bedrock for over a year to put together an innovative brewery in this great location,” said co-owner and operator Brent Zimmerman in an opening press release. “We love Detroit and what’s going on here because it has a similar feel to our hometown in Cleveland. City Modern is a very exciting project that brings life to an iconic neighborhood and we can’t wait to be a part of it. “
This is the fourth location for the brand and the first outside of Ohio. Saucy Brew Works opens in Detroit on March 3 at 2671 John R. Visit saucybrewworks.com for more information.
