Carlos Rodriguez, 83, has dementia, and the Chicago Police Department has issued a missing person warning for him. The CPD investigation states that Rodriguez was last seen on November 23, 2024, at around 4:30 p.m., following his departure from Community First Hospital with his dementia-afflicted wife. According to his description, he is a male Hispanic who was born on May 8, 1941, and is 5′ 7″, 130 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair that is streaked with gray, and an olive complexion.

His wife was discovered near the 5000 block of W Bell Plaine after he vanished. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective LIGUORI at 21296 as they are urging the public to help them in their hunt. The elderly couple’s vulnerability is highlighted by their decision to walk into the cold with no obvious purpose, as the embrace of the night may make any search more difficult.

The Department advises anyone with knowledge regarding Rodriguez’s whereabouts or who may have seen him to get in touch with the authorities right away. Given Rodriguez’s medical condition, caution is advised in approach, and it is stressed how important it is to call the police right away.
