Today, the City Council’s Select Budget Committee, chaired by Councilmember Dan Strauss of District 6, is set to vote on Seattle’s 2025-26 budget. On Thursday, the full Council is scheduled to convene. With the committee votes processed, a final decision on the budget and related legislation is expected, shaping Seattle’s economic direction for the coming years.
