DDN – According to San Antonio police, a guy was captured following a suspected road rage shooting on Interstate 35 toward the northeast side.
The incident occurred on Monday afternoon on I-35 northbound near the Thousand Oaks Drive exit.
An officer at the site told KSAT that a semi-truck driver and a sedan driver were involved in a road rage incident.
According to authorities, the driver of the sedan eventually pulled out a revolver and shot the man inside the semi-truck. The two cars eventually collided on the road.
According to SAPD, the semi-truck driver was sent to a local hospital for treatment.
According to police, the gunman has been apprehended, and three witnesses have been arrested for further investigation.
There were no additional people or vehicles involved in the event.
Officers are attempting to reopen the major lanes of I-35 to the public as quickly as possible.
